Omani Students – gotta love ’em!

Snack in one hand, cell-phone in another. Could describe a student in any part of the world! (Abdullah Mohammed Abdullah)

This is Abdullah Shemali. One of my brightest and most cheerful FY students.

Moustafa who has probably shown the most improvement of all students in the past 12 weeks.

Ibri College Student Performance

Here is our college auditorium, Masarat Hall. The boys sit on one side and the girls on the other with the first few rows reserved for teachers.

This is my student, Ali Mohammed Ali, reading from the Koran at the beginning of the show.

This is Ibrahim who directed the whole evening of entertainment. He is also the group leader of my FY12 class. (The Arabic reads, “Ibri College of Applied Sciences”)

This is my student, Naef, juggling a few rifles while other students do a “traditional cane dance” in the background.

Check out these videos I took while there as a guest:

The background photo is of the first group of graduates from Ibri College at their graduation a few weeks ago.

This is a photo of students doing a small play. It is hard to see, but there is one girl in the picture wearing black. She was the only female in the whole production and her role was that of a flight attendant.

Ibri Fort Tour – Part 7

Tamyez from Indonesia. It is his first semester at Ibri College as well.

Mohammed prepared a wonderful picnic for all of us on the tour! Some of the dishes were specially prepared Omani dishes that took his wife hours to make.
