ELTPN (English Language Teaching Professionals Network) Oman

ELT Professionals Network is  a network for English teachers here in Oman.  The British Council is the United Kingdom’s international organisation for
educational opportunities and cultural relations. They are a registered charity;
209131 (England and Wales) SC037733 (Scotland). They create international
opportunities for the people of the UK and other countries and build trust
between them worldwide. They call this cultural relations.

Wed, June 1st & Tues June 7th (7pm-8:30pm both nights) are 2 parts of a workshop titled “A Workable EFL/ESOL Paraphrasing Technique” at the Higher College of Technology in Al Khuwair.  They anticipate that June will be the final month for workshops this academic year until starting up again in September.  The worshop is aimed at secondary and higher education teachers.  It is for qualified teachers only.  Certificates of attendance will be issued per workshop.

You can book (or join the ELT Professionals Network email list!) by emailing eltpn@om.britishcouncil.org and provide your full name for certificate and registration purposes.  You should indicate which night or nights you want to attend.  (from stephen.monteith@om.britishcouncil.org )

I won’t be able to attend this workshop but I’m excited to know there’s a Professional Network for ELT teachers in Oman! (and that I’m on the email list!  🙂 )

  1. If volunteering is the one thing that makes you feel useful
    and worthwhile, you want someone who would, at the very least, support
    you if not join you in your volunteer projects. Where are
    you going. 3.
