Cool, poetic ad from A’Saffeh Chicken on the radio today: (I’ll add pics for visual stimulation.)
“What Does it Mean to Be Omani?”
It means you love football with a passion
and support the team whether they win or lose.
And no matter how much you enjoy the city,
your heart will always belong in your hometown.
It will mean still greeting you for 5 minutes even if we saw each other in the morning.
Your house should never run out of coffee. The Omani coffee.
A meal is never as fulfilling unless you eat it together with your hands.
It takes an Omani to know an Omani. At A’Saffeh Chicken we are 100% Omani and halal.” Nice! 🙂
I loved this, thanks for sharing.
I can’t listen to that with a straight face… I mean, ya very patriotic of them, but I could easily find at least 10 things that are a lot worthier and define being an Omani a lot better than the ones they have listed! Al Saffaa chicken is always “very original” when it comes to their marketing.
Kitten,
Glad to see someone else enjoyed it. 🙂
Olga,
I look forward to seeing “the 10 things that are worthier and define being an Omani a lot better than the ones they have listed” on your blog very soon. (We call that a “challenge” where I’m from! 😉 ) I just noticed that you’re not on my blogroll. Will add. BTW, best of luck with your mom’s shop! Sounds great. Keep us posted on when it’s opened as it’d be nice to have another fine option of places to take my honey shopping!
cool ad indeed. 🙂
@The Owl,
I still think so! 🙂
