The latest Yaseen Al Khaleel “political comic” from Oman Tribune, May 10th, 2013. Even when more than 90,000 Syrians have been killed by other Syrians, people will still manage to blame the US and “the International Community”. Notice the demonic shadows. This is one of the tamer comics I’ve seen by Yaseen Al Khaleel who is popular with such comics in Al Watan and Oman Tribune.

am totally pro-USA but the current Administration has been dealing with Syria in too ambivalent a manner, thereby worsening the situation.
look at all grandstanding against Assad re chemical weapons whilst minimizing the UN claim on chemical weapons being used by the “rebels”.
I have a feeling without international support the “rebels” would’ve been crushed by now and the total number of dead far smaller.
Let’s be honest. It doesn’t matter what the US does; people love to hate America. If they help or get involved, people attack them for messing in business that isn’t theirs. If they don’t get involved, they are to blame for doing nothing. So goes the world. But painting any nation or group of people as demonic is simply WRONG.
The Syria “image” does not have a shadow. I wonder what that would look like?
Great question for the artist, Ken!
Surprising they didn’t have a ‘Jewish Shadow’ behind the other two. Hey, get with it Jew Haters.
The U.S. really isn’t a player in the Syria issue so I don’t much understand the cartoon????
That’s like saying France too ect… or any other major UN body ect.
The UN doesn’t have a role in civil war unless genocide is an issue… and usually then no one cares so….
The US is a player in the Syria civil war.
How do you blame THIS on the US?! http://world.time.com/2013/05/14/we-will-slaughter-all-of-them-an-interview-with-the-man-behind-the-syrian-atrocity-video/
Sounds like the end of the Algerian Civil War, when the “rebels” inimicated everybody else, and lost
