Also known as Muttrah Fort (as it’s in the Muttrah district), the Jalili and Manrani Twin Forts have 6 towers which guard the entrance to Muscat Harbor.
The fort seems to grow naturally out of the rock of the mountain on which it sits. It was once used for keeping prisoners.
