My First Rainfall in Oman!

            Sunday night, as I was driving back to Ibri from church in Muscat, it started pouring down rain! It was difficult driving mostly due to the fact that Omanis LOVE to tail-gate! I’ve heard that it does rain here from time to time but this was a first for me. I’ve even heard that roads are sometimes so full of water that they close roads down and cancel classes. They cancelled classes at Ibri College last January due to rain…so while many in the west are singing away to “Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!“, my new song shall be, “Let it rain! Let it rain! Let it rain!”, ha!ha!
