AL JAHLI FORT, Al Ain, UAE

Al Jahli Fort was built by the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Khalifa (Zayed the first) in 1898 AD. The fort is square in shape and has three towers with a number of rooms. It has a separate round tower and this tower became one of the main architectural features in Al Ain.

Jahila Fort is a traditional mud brick fort and is one of Al Ain’s oldest landmarks and its largest fort.
