Abdullah, an Omani local, waiting to take those interested out for a boat ride Abdullah was suddenly all smiles once we agreed to go out on his boat. The normal price is 3 RO to the sea arch and back. Abdullah asked 5RO and because we didn’t feel like haggling with an elder gentlemen and we still thought it was so cheap, we agreed. We were very glad that we decided to take the boat ride out to the sea-arch. A 3-5 RO price for such a beautiful view of the Muscat coast is well worth it! If you ever come out to Qantab/Bandar Al Jissah and some locals hit you up for a boat-ride, don’t let the opportunity pass you by. Say, “Yes”!

I know that man!!!!! Hehehe he’s been doing the ride for at least five years:)
Yes, Abdullah has been there quite a while! I see him almost every time I head out to Bandar Beach! 🙂
oh man! we missed this. this is the first place we brought our friends from qatar. we were asked if we want to take a boat ride but we refused. Will have to go there again.
Mala,
There’s always next time! 🙂 The boatride out to the sea-arch is not only a lot of fun, it’s a great photo opp!
Nowadays, since Qantab is closed, can we go to see the SeaArch from Bandar Jissah?
Good question?! When staying at the ShangriLa, we were able to kayak to the SeaArch!
